That's right! The Athans are moving back to Houston. A few months ago Zach's boss told him that if we ever wanted to move to Houston to be closer to family, we could do it. We thought about it for a little while and decided to take them up on it!
Zach will continue working for HP, but will be at the Houston office. He starts there on October 7th. We are planning on living with my parents for a few months before finding a place of our own closer to his office.
While we are going to miss Austin soooo much, we know this is the right thing for us to do right now. We are so excited to live close to so much family. Not only are my parents in Houston, but my brother and his wife, Zach's aunt and uncle, and a few of Zach's cousins and their families as well. It'll be fun to see Finley play and interact with her second cousins! We're also very excited to be closer to a temple again.
Austin has been an amazing place for us the past two years. We started our little family here! We will miss it, but thankfully, we won't be too far away so we can visit often.
Time to start the next chapter in our lives!
