Yesterday was Finley's first birthday and it was such a fun day! We were lucky to have some family with us to celebrate the special occasion--Zach's mom flew out from North Carolina and my parents and brother, Jordan, came over from Houston.
Finley was so cute. At first I don't think she knew what was going on, but as the day went on she seemed to realize that it was a special day just for her! She laughed and smiled all day long and did lots of clapping and cheering for herself haha.
She got so many sweet gifts, but I think her favorite was the little plastic cell phone from Grandma and Grandpa Athans! Finley loves cell phones (probably too much) and she was very excited to have one all to her own! But I think she still knows the difference between the fake one and the real one haha.
We just can't believe we officially have a one year old now! Finley has grown into the sweetest and most fun little girl. She is brimming with personality and is definitely one of a kind. We love you Finley Elizabeth!!! Thanks for a wonderful year!
